Responsibilities
- Project Management: Proficiency in managing and overseeing projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess complex project data, identify trends, anticipate potential issues, and propose effective solutions to maintain project timelines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on project objectives and timelines.
- Software Knowledge: Sound knowledge and expertise in project management software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, to efficiently create, manage, and update project schedules.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to meticulously monitor project plans, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy in scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Collaboration: Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaborative relationships, and ensuring alignment between planning, execution, and project objectives.
- Risk Management: Develop mitigation plans to address any possible delays or issues that may affect the project timeline.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Daily monitoring of work and reporting any occurrences that might cause delays or variations in the work.
- Workflow Tracking: Track project workflow from initiation to delivery and record variances.
- Coordination: Coordinate and communicate between teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to management and customers.
- Risk Identification: Identify potential project risks related to schedule, resources, and external factors.
- Variation Management: Participate in preparing variation orders and time extension claims.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively and ensure their availability as per the project's needs.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of department objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience
