Job description

We are looking for a detail-driven and highly organized Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, ensuring project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

·Develop detailed baseline schedules for projects using Primavera and/or MS Project.

·Monitor project progress and compare it with the approved schedule.

·Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including progress updates, look-ahead schedules, and variance analysis.

·Identify critical paths, potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies.

·Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to align schedules with actual site progress.

·Track project milestones and deliverables against contractual obligations.

·Assist in resource planning and allocation.

·Support in delay analysis and extension of time (EoT) claims when needed.

Skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

·Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

·8–10 years of experience in planning/scheduling roles, preferably in the construction or fit-out sectors.

  • Red Sea Global RSG or NEOM Experience or Approval is recommended.

·Proficiency in Primavera and Microsoft Project is mandatory.

·Strong knowledge of project management principles and project life cycles.

·Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) and productivity analysis.

·Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

·Experience working with consultants and contractors in the Gulf region.

·PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.

·Ability to interpret drawings and technical documents.
