Job Description
  1. Prepare FEED / DBSP documents and drawings.
  2. Prepare DED documents and drawings.
  3. Develop bid engineering estimates for projects.
  4. Define scope of work and estimate engineering man-hours.
  5. Create Scope of Work and Basis of Design documents.
  6. Develop Construction Scope of Work for contractors.
  7. Attend site surveys with clients and contractors to gather requirements for accurate and competitive design proposals.
  8. Prepare equipment layouts and piping layouts.
  9. Design piping systems and prepare data sheets/specifications.
  10. Develop Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and Isometric drawings.
  11. Conduct TBE and NMR reviews.
  12. Perform stress analysis and prepare line lists.
  13. Specialize in piping stress analysis, including CAESAR II modeling, pipe flexibility, and stress evaluation considering supports, seismic loads, thermal cycles, and wind.
  14. Select appropriate supports such as springs and expansion joints.
  15. Evaluate stress, displacement, forces, and moments on restraints; ensure loads are within allowable limits.
  16. Perform dynamic analyses: modal, harmonic, response spectrum.
  17. Prepare datasheets for expansion joints, spring hangers, and update support standards.
  18. Compile stress analysis reports.
  19. Knowledge of piping codes and standards like ASME, API, SAES (Saudi Aramco standards).
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Experience: 8 to 16+ years in oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industries.
  • Experience with Saudi Aramco projects or familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards is an advantage, with a minimum of 3-5 years in GES/GES+ in Saudi Arabia.
  • Skills: CAESAR II, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Microsoft Office.
