Job description

Piping / Pipeline Engineers are responsible for designing, analyzing, and maintaining piping/pipeline systems used in industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, and power generation. They must ensure that piping/pipeline systems are safe, efficient, and compliant with industry standards, and oversee the construction of pipelines for transporting oil and gas.

Responsibilities
  1. Proficient in S3D and 2D software.
  2. Exposure to stress analysis concepts.
  3. Responsible for piping design, plant layout, piping stress analysis, and general requirements from construction, maintenance, and operability perspectives.
  4. Develop and revise engineering deliverables.
  5. Review engineering deliverables against company procedures, standards, and checklists.
  6. Supervise engineering work produced by junior engineers.
  7. Participate in relevant training sessions.
  8. Plan and execute work within allocated man-hours to avoid delays.
  9. Coordinate effectively with the Project Manager and team members.
  10. Delegate tasks and manage team billability.
  11. Collaborate with all disciplines to incorporate their input into deliverables.
  12. Conduct site visits, verify site conditions, and prepare as-built drawings.
  13. Manage deliverables with quality checks and proper record keeping.
  14. Prepare technical reports and presentations.
  15. Ensure compliance with Aramco, Sabic, and Royal Commission standards.
  16. Conduct technical bid evaluations, review vendor documents, and manage subcontract scopes.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Diploma in Piping Engineering.
  3. Total experience of 10 years.
  4. At least 5 years of experience with Aramco pipeline projects.
  5. Preference for locally available candidates with transferable Iqama.
