Physical Security Product Manager

As a Physical Security Product Manager at Obeikan Digital Solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, development, and launch of our physical security products. You will work at the intersection of technology, design, and market needs, ensuring our offerings meet the evolving demands of our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of physical security systems, market trends, and customer requirements to drive product success and innovation.

Responsibilities :

1. Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies for physical security offerings, including access control systems, surveillance solutions, and integrated security systems. Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
2. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points. Utilize insights to inform product development, prioritization, and strategic direction.
3. Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to define product specifications, features, and functionality. Oversee the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts. Gather input and feedback to ensure products cater effectively to user needs.
5. Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for product launches, including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities. Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling product messaging and collateral.
6. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics post-launch, gathering insights to inform future product iterations and enhancements. Ensure products deliver on value propositions and contribute to revenue growth.
7. Training and Support: Provide training and support to sales and technical teams, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of the products and their benefits. Develop product documentation, training materials, and presentations.
8. Compliance and Standards: Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements related to physical security. Ensure that products align with relevant certifications and safety standards.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
2. 5+ years of experience in product management, specifically in the physical security industry or related technology sectors.
3. Strong understanding of physical security technologies, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems.
4. Proven experience in managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through to launch and post-launch analysis.
5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and customer feedback to drive product improvements.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
7. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful product marketing strategies and go-to-market plans.
8. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
9. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
10. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards related to physical security systems.
