Primary Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide medication counseling to patients
• Review medication orders and patient profiles to identify potential drug interactions or adverse effects
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized medication treatment plans
• Monitor patient responses to drug therapy and adjust medications as needed for optimal outcomes
• Maintain medication inventory and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Stay updated on pharmaceutical knowledge and industry trends to provide the highest quality of care
• Conduct medication therapy management services to enhance patient safety and adherence
  
  
  

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice
• Previous experience as a pharmacist is preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and drug interactions
• Excellent communication and counseling skills to educate patients on medication usage
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills
