Job Title: Pediatric Cardiology Consultant

JOB SUMMARY

Join one of the prestigious hospitals in Saudi Arabia as a Pediatric Cardiology Consultant. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and enhance our pediatric cardiology services. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provides high-quality cardiac care to pediatric patients.
  2. Provides consultative service as requested.
  3. Supervises fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  4. Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.
  5. Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  6. Performs special procedures as privileged.
  7. Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  1. Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  2. Completion of required period of training in Pediatric Cardiology.
  3. Saudi Arabian or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
  4. Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent, fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.
  5. A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must.
  6. Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

  1. Minimum 3-4 years post Board/Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology.
  2. A registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language

  1. Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
