Job summary

Lucid Motors in Saudi Arabia seeks a Completed Vehicle Body Repair Technician to work with cutting‑edge technology and maintain world‑class quality. The role requires enthusiasm, motivation, and teamwork in a fast‑paced environment.

The technician will perform diagnostics on all‑electric vehicles, execute precise body repairs, and document activities while collaborating with engineering and production teams. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic IT literacy.
• 2–5 years of experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and test Lucid vehicles using advanced tools.
• Perform body repairs to high Lucid standards.
• Disassemble/assemble vehicles and keep work areas clean.
• Provide failure analysis to engineering teams.
• Develop repair procedures and train others as needed.
• Document repairs electronically and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Read harness/circuit diagrams and follow safety protocols.

Position Overview

The Completed Vehicle Body Repair Technician requires experienced automotive repairmen. The successful candidate will work with cutting‑edge technology that enables exceptional performance and world‑class quality. The applicant must be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual able to work in a fast‑paced environment, perform under pressure, remain dynamic, and understand urgency. The Repair Technician must practice teamwork and team building within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently and expertly perform diagnostic testing on Lucid Motor's all‑electric vehicles.
• Perform body repairs to achieve a high level of quality that meets Lucid standards.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles when needed, while maintaining a high level of cleanliness of the vehicle and the workstation.
• Provide engineering teams with comprehensive failure analysis.
• Participate in ongoing skill development to further your technical expertise.
• Contribute toward the development of repair procedures.
• Train others on repair procedures.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Learn and gain proficiency on new technologies.
• Document repair activities electronically using a variety of systems, if needed.
• Assist in identifying and correcting the cause of problems by partnering with cross‑functional teams in a collaborative environment.
• Wear personal protective equipment, as required and maintain a clean environment.
• Ability to read and interpret automotive harness / circuit diagrams.

Skills

• Must have the ability to work at the pace required while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time during the repair of a vehicle.
• Must be able to walk, sit, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently.
• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 22 kilograms.
• Must be able to use heavy shop equipment (hoists, lifts, lifting tables) safely.
• Able to follow instructions in English, both written and verbal.
• Available to work overtime, off‑shifts or weekends, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic IT literacy.
• 2–5 years of experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
