The HR Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing payroll records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy in payments, deductions, and adjustments.
Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and payroll regulations.
Prepare and submit necessary payroll reports and tax filings.
Work closely with HR and finance teams to update records and resolve issues.
Assist in payroll system maintenance and process improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in payroll processing.
Knowledge of payroll systems and tax regulations.
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office and payroll software.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
