A leading defense contractor is seeking a Patriot Maintenance Technician in Saudi Arabia to support the operational readiness of Patriot systems. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance, performing repairs, and adhering to safety standards. The ideal candidate should have an associate degree in Engineering or a related field and experience with Patriot systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
The Patriot Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in supporting the operational readiness and sustainment of Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF) systems by providing expert technical assistance and maintenance services. This position involves aiding battery personnel in the emplacement, orientation, alignment, and adjustments of Patriot major end items, as well as supporting System Integration and Check-Out (SICO) processes. The technician isolates system malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools, including automatic and semiautomatic maintenance programs, unit self-tests, Built-In Test Equipment (BITE), and external test equipment.
The technician performs repairs on a wide range of Patriot components, including the Information Coordination Central (ICC), Engagement Control Station (ECS), Radar Set (RS), Communication Relay Group (CRG), Battalion Maintenance Equipment (BME), Battery Maintenance Center (BMC), Identification Friend or Foe (IFF), Antenna Mast Group (AMG), Large Repair Parts Transporter (LRPT), Guided Missile Transporter (GMT), and Launching Station (LS). Additionally, the role involves providing technical support for Patriot power generation and communications equipment, assisting in missile handling operations, and ensuring adherence to safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Through participation in On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs, the technician demonstrates proper maintenance and troubleshooting techniques while identifying and correcting faulty work practices. Responsibilities also include preparing and submitting maintenance and System Problem Reports (SPRs) to the battery commander, ensuring accurate documentation of issues and resolutions. Other duties within the field of Patriot system maintenance are performed as required. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in maintaining and supporting complex defense systems.
This position is based remote locations in Saudi Arabia and can be changed at the request of customer.
