What You Will Do

  • Provide technical advice and assist battery personnel in emplacement, orientation, alignment, checks, adjustments and System Integration and Check-Out (SICO) of the patriot major end items equipment.
  • Isolate malfunctions in the system using automatic and semiautomatic program maintenance diagnostics, unit self-test, Built-In Test Equipment (BITE), and external test equipment.
  • Perform repair of patriot Information Coordination Central (ICC), Engagement Control Station (ECS), Radar Set (RS), Communication Relay Group (CRG), Battalion Maintenance Equipment (BME), Battery Maintenance Center (BMC), Identification Friend or Foe (IFF), Antenna Mast Group (AMG), Large Repair Parts Transporter (LRPT), Guided Missile Transporter (GMT), and Launching Station (LS).
  • Provide technical assistance in maintaining the patriot power generation equipment, and communications equipment.
  • Assist in missile handling operations as required.
  • Participate in On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs.
  • Assist the Section Officer in enforcing safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Identify faulty work practices and demonstrate proper maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Prepare and submit maintenance reports and System Problem Reports (SPR’s) to the battery commander.
  • Performs other required work in the same field.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to provide support as needed by traveling to company work locations around the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Associate degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an accredited foreign or local college or institute or equivalent electronics experience on the basis of a minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have successfully completed the Patriot Operator and System Mechanic (Patriot Organizational Maintenance) course or an equivalent course of instruction conducted by the U.S. Army Air Defense School or the Patriot system contractor.
  • Less than two (2) years prior field experience in the operation, maintenance, test and repair of the ICC, ECS, RS, CRG, BME, BMC, IFF, AMG, LRPT, GMT and LS at Organizational Maintenance (OM) level.
  • Must be proficient in orientation and alignment operations and in troubleshooting, isolating and correcting malfunctions in the Patriot system using automatic and semiautomatic program maintenance diagnostics, unit self-tests and Built-In Test Equipment (BITE).
  • Must be skilled in the use of tools and test equipment contained in the Battery Maintenance Center, AN / TSM-164.
  • Knowledgeable of the operation and organizational maintenance of power generation and communications equipment is required.
