Job description

Job Purpose / Objective


Provide support to nursing staff with both direct and indirect patient care within the assigned area. The position holder will undertake tasks delegated by the Charge Nurse or team leader and act as a coordinator between the physician and patient/family.


Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities


  • Ensure the clinic environment is clean, well-arranged, and stocked daily.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and prepare necessary equipment.
  • Organize and coordinate clinic activities, including patient flow.
  • Complete all required documentation such as claims and referrals.
  • Monitor patient status and assist with lab, radiology, and other services as needed.
  • Process admissions and referrals accurately and promptly.
  • Answer calls courteously, relay messages, and handle inquiries from visitors.
  • Adhere to JCIA/CBAHI standards for patient safety.
  • Follow nursing documentation policies.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Initiate emergency and resuscitative measures when necessary.
  • Provide education to patients and families.
  • Adhere to punctuality and attendance policies.
  • Maintain required competencies as per HMG policy.
  • Keep licenses current as per MOH regulations.
  • Follow infection control standards.
  • Adhere to dress code policies.
  • Perform nursing procedures within scope of practice, including:
    • Checking vital signs and pulse oximeter readings.
    • Measuring patient weight and height.
    • Performing glucose checks.
    • Conducting ECGs and pain assessments.
  • Respond to questions within scope or refer to RN/SN as appropriate.
  • Attend meetings and educational activities.
  • Report observations and concerns about patient condition promptly.
  • Guide patients to investigation areas and provide written information as needed.
  • Participate in person-centered care initiatives.
  • Provide compassionate, respectful, and dignified patient care.
  • Perform other duties within their knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Education / Professional Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science
  • Completion of PCT Program

Experience

Healthcare experience preferred; fresh graduates with interest in healthcare are welcome.

Professional Licensing / Certification / Training

  • Valid Saudi Council license
  • BLS Certification
