Job description

Job Purpose:

To perform sales activities within an assigned geographical area, product range, and government customer accounts to achieve the agreed sales objectives, customer satisfaction levels, and profitability targets aligned with ACC's operational plans and policies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Sales Operations

  • Close sales orders to meet established targets (annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly) and plan activities accordingly.
  • Identify, research, and engage prospective customers to build relationships that generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, providing technical advice as needed.
  • Negotiate prices, quotations, delivery times, and approve discounts within authority limits.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers to understand and meet their current and future needs.
  • Apply CRM techniques with the Parts staff, advising on market trends and offerings to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Address and resolve disputes to ensure customer retention and protect market position.

Reporting:

  • Provide feedback on customer and competitor activity to relevant departments for market responsiveness.
  • Document sales progress and results, reporting regularly to the manager.

Policies, Processes, and Procedures

  • Implement and monitor adherence to sales policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in systems and practices.

Safety, Health, and Environment:

  • Follow safety, health, and environmental policies to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Participate in incident investigations and report changes impacting safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Parts Sales.
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Division-specific experience: PS Division (Volvo, Cummins, John Deere, Generators), MH Division (Kalmar, Linde, Hangcha, Material Handling).
