Position: Partner Sales Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Partner Sales Manager to join our IHV alliances organization. This role involves building strategic relationships with major OEM and IHV partners like Dell, HPE, IBM, and others, to promote Canonical's open source solutions and grow our market presence. The role requires working closely with partner teams across geographies, enabling opportunities, and driving business results.

Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain strategic relationships with partner teams.
  2. Develop and manage a sales pipeline, transacting opportunities through partners.
  3. Increase awareness of Canonical's open source capabilities among partners.
  4. Deliver presentations, conduct workshops, and participate in sales events and executive engagements.
  5. Support internal teams and expand existing partnerships, focusing on upselling and broader portfolio adoption.
  6. Travel as needed to foster partner relationships and support initiatives.
  7. Contribute to strategic planning and campaign development.
Qualifications
  • Experience in alliance or indirect sales management.
  • Strong understanding of Linux, virtualization, containers, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of IHV products, go-to-market strategies, and field operations.
  • Willingness to travel up to four times per year.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Google Suite is a plus.
