Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

A pediatric consultant at a top-tier hospital in Saudi Arabia would be dedicated to providing expert pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents. Your responsibilities would encompass leading the diagnosis, treatment, and management of pediatric conditions, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Your contribution to education, research, and quality improvement in pediatric medicine would be fundamental to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional pediatric care.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high-quality pediatric care to patients.
  • Offer consultative services as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Participate in training and teaching of residents and fellows in your area of expertise and engage in research activities.
  • Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Perform special procedures as privileged.
  • Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Desired Candidate Profile

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Graduate from a reputable medical school.
  • Completion of required pediatric training.
  • Saudi Arab or American /European Board Certification or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent, fulfilling the criteria for a consultant.
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is mandatory.
  • Dataflow certification is required.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3-4 years post-Board/Fellowship experience in pediatrics.
  • Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language

  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
