Paediatric Anesthetics Consultant

• Provide safe and effective anaesthesia care for infants, children, and adolescents undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.
• Manage complex paediatric anaesthesia cases, including those with congenital heart defects and other chronic illnesses.
• Develop and implement anaesthesia plans tailored to the specific needs of each child.
• Offer compassionate and empathetic patient care, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance.
• Clinical Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in clinical audits and research projects to advance the field of paediatric anaesthesia.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in paediatric anaesthesia technology and techniques.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Board certification in Anaesthesia with a focus on paediatric anaesthesia
• Significant clinical experience in paediatric anaesthesia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are advantageous)
• Fellowship training in paediatric anaesthesia
• Experience in a multicultural healthcare setting
• A passion for teaching and research
