Job Opportunity: Osteopath

One of our clients in the Healthcare industry located in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is hiring for the position of Osteopath.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 1-4 years
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree
  • License: Already obtained or studied under the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine
  • Notice Period: Immediate joiners or maximum one-month notice period
Job Summary:

Osteopaths aim to reduce symptoms and improve the health and quality of life of patients by identifying imbalances within the musculoskeletal system, offering exercise and health advice, and facilitating the body's ability to heal itself through stretching, massage, and gentle manipulation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Taking detailed case histories from new patients, including general health and specific symptoms.
  2. Interpreting digital imagery such as MRI, ultrasound, and x-rays.
  3. Making working diagnoses.
  4. Planning treatment in partnership with patients, often involving hands-on techniques like soft tissue work, gentle release, and cranial osteopathy.
  5. Providing lifestyle and dietary recommendations related to posture, eating habits, exercise, and relaxation.
  6. Referring patients to other specialists when necessary.
  7. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  8. Assessing posture and joint/muscle restrictions through active movements.
  9. Performing physical examinations using palpation to identify restricted or strained areas.
  10. Measuring blood pressure and conducting other physical assessments as needed.

  • Gender: Male/Female
  • Experience: 1-4 years
  • Salary: Ranges from 10,000 to 18,000 SAR depending on experience
