Job Description

Take on the role of a consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with diseases affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and neck. Work involves treating patients of all ages, performing emergency and scheduled treatments, maintaining records, and providing aftercare instructions and recommendations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Perform biopsies to determine if tumors or growths are cancerous.
  2. Administer local, regional, or general anesthetics before surgeries.
  3. Surgically remove tumors and abnormal growths of the oral and maxillofacial areas.
  4. Adjust patients' jaws to improve functionality, comfort, and symmetry.
  5. Remove impacted wisdom teeth and buried dental roots.
  6. Perform reconstructive surgery for congenital defects, structural abnormalities, and injuries.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare specialists to develop treatment plans.
  8. Inform patients of diagnoses and discuss treatment options.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from a reputable medical school.
  • Completed the necessary training in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship in America and/or Europe or equivalent, meeting consultant criteria.
  • Recognition certificate by the Saudi commission is mandatory.
  • Dataflow certification is required.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years post-board/fellowship experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Language Skills
