Microsoft Application Developer

Position Summary:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or Accounts and a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

The FMCG company plans to recruit a senior Microsoft and Web Applications Developer along with HHT Sales Applications Experience for its IT Applications team based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This recruited person will report directly to the IT Manager and is responsible for the Microsoft and Web Applications development, managing Handheld Applications, systems integrations, web portals enhancements, MS Power BI administration and reporting development, and supporting and managing in-house Microsoft and Java based applications with the objective of providing application support to help in achieving business objectives, supporting current systems and participating in the change management process, in accordance with the corporate policies, strategies and plans.

Responsibilities:

• Should have Route to Market Sales Operations or HHT Sales Application Experience
• Should have a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in relevant areas including applications development
• Candidate should have knowledge and experience in Software, Custom Applications, and ERP solutions is a plus
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft and Web applications development using the latest and best practice tools
• Any ERP knowledge like Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics/365, IFS is a winning advantage.
• Strong & proven experience in building large scale web applications using JavaScript on top of SOAP/REST/JSON protocols
• Experience with AngularJS is a strong plus and BOSH and XMPP protocols is a plus
• Experience with MVC frameworks (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Ember, Knock-Out, Backbone, Bootstrap, etc.)
• Experience in developing attractive feature-rich front ends and user experience (UI/UX)
• Experience with a Power BI suite or strong data modeling and visualization skills and web services experience
• Experience with web design and administration, HTML/CSS/jQuery/AJAX/Node.js & mapping APIs, including ESRI & Leaflet
• Experience with Cloud architecture design and management, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Databases, including MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or NoSQL, or interactive data visualization, including infographics, charting, or geospatial mapping
• Experience with native mobile app development, including Objective-C for iOS, Java for Android, or C# for Unity3D
• Experience with scripting languages such as Jython, Python, TCL, and/or Perl are a plus
• Experience working with applications and web development technologies including J2EE Technologies, XML, Web Services, EJB, IBM WebSphere, Portal, TomCat, DB2 and/or programming tools (ASP.NET, Web Form, SQL, VB, Ajax, JavaScript)
• Hands-on experience in working with Object Oriented Programming C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C++, in Microsoft Visual Studio latest environment.
