Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator with 5 years of hands-on experience to manage, optimize, and secure our Oracle database systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and disaster recovery strategies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software and related tools.
• Design and implement database structures to meet business requirements.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize efficiency.
• Develop and execute backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
• Manage user access, roles, and security protocols for the database.
• Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain system stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and applications.
• Implement and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Oracle database versions (e.g., 12c, 19c) and related tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
• Familiarity with database monitoring tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Understanding of backup and recovery processes using RMAN.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
• Experience with cloud-based Oracle databases (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash.
