JOB DUTIES STATEMENTS:

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Performs clinical duties as per his/her assigned clinical privileges.
2. Assesses his/her patients thoroughly (e.g., clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, and functional assessments) as per DSFH policies and documents patients' assessments in patients' medical records.
3. Develops a plan of care for patients using an evidence-based approach and following standards of care, and documents the plan of care in patients' medical records as per DSFH policies.
4. Ensures that the patient's plan of care is implemented in a timely manner.
5. Becomes the most responsible physician (MRP) for inpatients admitted under his/her name.
6. Develops a discharge plan on the day of admission for inpatients admitted under his/her name and involves discharge planning services early if needed.
7. Assesses inpatients admitted under his/her name at least once daily, documenting daily assessments and plans of care in progress notes using SOAP format per DSFH policies.
8. Responds to medical consultations promptly and in accordance with DSFH policies.
9. Documents medical interventions performed on patients in a timely manner as per DSFH policies.
10. Ensures the timely completion and authentication of discharge summaries for patients admitted under his/her name, including discharge instructions and medication education prior to patient discharge.
11. Provides education to patients and families, engages them in the care plan, and documents this education in the medical record.
12. Attends hospital duties, responds to calls as per departmental/section schedule, and participates in departmental and staff meetings, contributing ideas for improvement.
13. Responsible for writing medical reports for patients as per DSFH policies.
14. Contributes to teaching rounds and activities as requested by the medical department chairperson.
15. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
16. Complies with organizational policies on ethical practices and represents DSFH professionally in the community.
17. Performs other duties within the scope of responsibility as assigned.
18. Demonstrates compassionate communication skills and patient-centered care.
19. Adheres to all policies, plans, and programs within Fakeeh Care.
20. Completes mandatory education before expiration deadlines.
21. Maintains current knowledge related to quality, safety, accreditation, policies, and documentation systems.

Qualifications

• Completion of structured training in the specialty or subspecialty at a recognized medical center, obtaining the highest clinical degree possible in that field.
• Completion of required experience according to Saudi Commission for Health Specialties in recognized medical centers.
• Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and Ministry of Health Saudi License are mandatory.
