Job Description

Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Operate and monitor all processes in the STP, including pumps, blowers, clarifiers, UV systems, and other equipment.
• Record and interpret data from SCADA systems, flowmeters, and sensors.
• Conduct process adjustments to ensure efficient treatment and adherence to discharge standards.
• Collect and test water samples for parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, and TSS.
• Manage chemical dosing systems for disinfection and pH control.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all STP equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues.
• Maintain and update maintenance logs, records, and reports.
• Replace or repair faulty equipment, including valves, pumps, and sensors.
• Ensure all tools and spare parts are available and in good condition.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on plant performance and maintenance activities.
• Maintain records of equipment inspections, breakdowns, and repairs.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for process optimization.
• Adhere to environmental and safety regulations during operations and maintenance.
• Ensure proper disposal of sludge and other waste materials.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety procedures for all tasks.
• Coordinate with environmental authorities for compliance monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Diploma Degree in Chemistry or Environment

Experience: 0-2 Years of experience in the water treatment field
