Advanced Metal Industries and Toho Titanium (ATTM) is a private company operating within the materials sector, focusing on specialty chemicals.

An exciting opportunity is available for Operator III, Reduction. Based in Yanbu, the successful candidate will report directly to the Supervisor, Reduction and Distillation.

About the role:

The Reduction Shift Operator carries out all activities in the Reduction & Distillation Process in Titanium Sponge production. Responsibilities include operating the plant within set parameters, monitoring production to ensure quality, recording routine data, supporting the process with routine tasks such as plant setup and adjustments, handling plant issues, and performing simple maintenance tasks.

You will be responsible for:

1. Maintaining oversight of the reduction and distillation process and monitoring all aspects of production.
2. Charging molten Magnesium.
3. Overseeing MgCl₂ tapping operations.
4. Monitoring the distillation and cooling processes, taking corrective actions when necessary.
5. Operating processes according to established procedures.
6. Observing and monitoring the process to anticipate problems.
7. Monitoring equipment performance and preparing for maintenance.
8. Ensuring product quality by following quality procedures.
9. Communicating equipment or process issues to colleagues.
10. Collecting data on malfunctions for analysis.
11. Collaborating with team members to identify and evaluate process improvements.
12. Coordinating shift activities with the supervisor.
13. Maintaining logs of incidents and supporting documentation.
14. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
15. Operating cranes and hoists as required.
16. Safely operating electrical supply and recovery procedures.
17. Maintaining operational safety and housekeeping practices.
18. Performing other operational tasks as per skill requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in a related field.

Minimum Experience:

At least 2 years in a similar heavy industrial environment.
