Job description

Balancing Operator

Qualifications: Basic knowledge in mechanical activities

Experience: Minimum 2-5 years experience

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Knowledge of Balancing machine operation. Good knowledge in Impellers & Shaft as well as step balancing of motor/generators rotors up to 32 tons.
2. Knowledge of machine accuracy/calibration process & Balancing Methods.
3. Knowledge required in machine program set-up & parameters of various make machines like ABRO / CEMB / SCHENK, etc.
4. Knowledge required for machine speed selection according to weight & rotation speed of rotor (Wn).
5. Knowledge required for calculating acceptance limit of unbalance of rotor weight as per IS standard w.ref of Grade.
6. Knowledge required of Balancing screen reading & machine plane reading.
7. Shaft balancing can be performed by adding weight / reducing weight.
8. Perform routine maintenance work of Balancing machine, i.e., cleaning, lubrication, inspection & tightening of loose bolts.
9. Good knowledge of maintaining the job records.
10. Basic knowledge of SAFETY PP.

Candidates must have experience in a COIL MANUFACTURING OR MOTOR MANUFACTURING Plant or Industry.
