Job Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end logistics process within SMARTPLUS. This includes working closely with Sales, Warehouse, and Shipping teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently, inventory levels are maintained, and customer deliveries are executed flawlessly.

  1. Oversee internal logistics operations from sales order creation to shipping and customer handover.
  2. Develop, implement, and monitor process improvements to reduce bottlenecks and increase throughput.
  3. Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Warehouse, Procurement, and Customer Service.
  4. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order processing time, shipping accuracy, and on-time delivery.
  5. Lead and mentor logistics staff and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  6. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and distributors.
  7. Generate regular reports and present findings to senior management.
  8. Identify risks and develop contingency plans for peak seasons and unforeseen disruptions.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in ERP or order management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
