Designation: Business Development (Director) Infrastructure Sector

Location: Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer / Regional Managing Director

About Company: Balajee Group is a leading civil infrastructure company based in Mumbai, India with core expertise in large-scale Infrastructure projects. Currently expanding operations in Saudi Arabia, we are hiring for above position roles to drive growth and strategic partnerships in the region.


Job Purpose: To lead the business development strategy across infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia, identifying and securing new opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the company's growth in alignment with Vision 2030 and national infrastructure priorities.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Market Expansion: Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned with the company's goals in the infrastructure sector. Identify emerging market trends, government initiatives, and investment opportunities (e.g., NEOM, The Line, Red Sea Project, etc.).


Opportunity Identification & Bid Management: Identify new business opportunities including public-private partnerships (PPP), government tenders, and private sector engagements. Lead prequalification, tendering, proposal development, and contract negotiations.


Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, consultants, developers, and strategic partners. Represent the company in industry events, forums, and conferences in KSA and the GCC region.


Partnerships & Alliances: Identify and build strategic alliances and joint ventures to enhance project delivery and capability. Negotiate MoUs, NDAs, and partnership agreements in line with corporate objectives.


Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the business development team to achieve sales and growth targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and operations for seamless project acquisition and mobilization.


Market Intelligence & Reporting: Provide competitive intelligence, client feedback, and risk assessments. Report regularly on business development performance and pipeline progress.


Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in engineering, Business, or related field (Masters or MBA preferred).

12–15 years of experience, with a strong track record in business development within the infrastructure, construction, or engineering sectors.

Extensive knowledge of the Saudi and GCC infrastructure market, regulatory environment, and project procurement frameworks.

Experience working with government stakeholders and large-scale projects in the KSA region. Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage.
