A leading company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a TSS Mechanical Team Lead to oversee aircraft maintenance operations. The role requires strong leadership and engineering skills to manage a team while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This is a high-profile position that plays a critical part in maintaining aircraft for the Royal Saudi Air Force.
BAE Systems is the UK Government s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The TSS Mechanical Team Lead works in a highly challenging yet equally rewarding environment playing a key role in generating aircraft for the RSAF customer. The role is therefore extremely high profile and involves interfacing with other departments and organisation such as Ops, Supply Chain, along with Senior Management within the RSAF and across BAE SYSTEMS globally. The role could be expected to deputise for the Workshop Maintenance Manager in times of absence.
Work involves a balance between leading the resolution of complex Engineering issues and responsibility for team management including oversight of applicable rules and regulations. Activities as a consequence vary on a day-to-day basis.
