Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Leadership & Management:
   • Manage all site construction activities for EHV OHTL projects from mobilization to completion.
   • Lead and supervise site engineers, foremen, technicians, and subcontractors.
   • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and project specifications.
2. Planning & Execution:
   • Develop site execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
   • Monitor daily work progress and ensure milestones are met on time.
   • Coordinate tower erection, stringing, sagging, and testing activities according to approved method statements.
3. Technical Oversight:
   • Ensure all electrical activities (including assembly, erection of towers, conductor stringing, and fittings) meet technical standards and quality requirements.
   • Review and verify installation drawings, plans, and material specifications.
   • Resolve technical issues promptly in coordination with the engineering team.
4. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
   • Enforce HSE policies and procedures across the site.
   • Conduct toolbox talks, safety audits, and ensure compliance with statutory and company HSE requirements.
5. Resource & Material Management:
   • Manage manpower, equipment, and materials availability at the site.
   • Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams for timely supply chain management.
6. Stakeholder Coordination:
   • Liaise with client representatives, consultants, government authorities, and project managers.
   • Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on site progress and issues.
7. Reporting & Documentation:
   • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
   • Maintain accurate records of site activities, material usage, and manpower deployment.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in site management for EHV Overhead Transmission Line projects.
3. Proven track record managing OHTL projects of 380kV or higher.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical transmission standards, site erection practices, and safety regulations.
5. Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, and other project management tools.
6. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and in remote locations.
