Job description

The Officer II - Health, Safety, & Environment (AQC) at Six Flags Qiddiya City and Aquarabia will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while fostering a culture of safety across the park. This position involves working closely with various teams to implement HSE policies and procedures effectively, as well as monitoring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies, standards, and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards
  • Monitor safety performance and prepare reports on HSE metrics and trends
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on health, safety, and environmental issues
  • Participate in incident investigations, ensuring thorough analysis and implementation of corrective actions
  • Conduct HSE training and orientation for new employees and ongoing education for all staff
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and compliance throughout the park
  • Stay informed about relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in health, safety, and environmental management


Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE compliance within a large organization. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. Relevant HSE certifications are preferred.
