Job description

Advanced Smelting Industries Co. (ASIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee, operates a smelter located in Jizan Economic City. The plant is designed to smelt ilmenite (a titanium-rich mineral sand) to produce Titanium Dioxide slag and pig iron. It consists of two Electric Arc furnaces, each with a capacity of 250kt slag and 125kt pig iron. The slag produced is processed to be used as feedstock for titanium chlorination and sulfuric acid processes, ultimately producing titanium pigment used in paints and plastics.

An exciting opportunity is available at Slagger Company for an Officer, Security, based in Jizan.

About the role:

The officer will perform routine guard tasks and protective duties at a Slagger site or facility, focusing on repetitive security operations.

You will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing access of personnel, materials, and equipment entering and departing Slagger worksites or facilities.
  • Verifying the identity of individuals and confirming entry authorization with department personnel when necessary, under supervision.
  • Referring persons lacking proper authorization to arrange required documentation as per procedure.
  • Patrolling assigned areas to inspect for signs of damage, illegal entry, or fire hazards.
  • Issuing and controlling contractor/visitor passes under close supervision.
  • Entering data accurately into information systems for incidents, confiscated items, vehicle IDs, and authorization permits.
  • Participating in emergency drills under supervision.
  • Responding appropriately to intruder alarm alerts and calls for help, following established procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
  • At least 1 year of experience or more in a related field.
Required Skills:
  • Strong observation skills to notice unusual behavior or safety hazards quickly.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting and coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
