About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Officer to join our team in Jeddah. The role focuses on driving sales growth in the freight and logistics sector by developing client relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, exhibitions, and client visits.

  • Handle enquiries from freight forwarders, prepare quotations, and convert them into confirmed orders.

  • Maintain market awareness, monitor competitor activity, and adjust strategies to meet customer needs.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met effectively and efficiently.

  • Manage assigned accounts, resolve payment and service issues, and strengthen customer relationships.

  • Enhance brand awareness through client engagement and consistent reporting.

  • Prepare and deliver sales performance reports.

  • Carry out additional business development duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in freight sales or business development.

  • Strong understanding of logistics and freight forwarding processes.

  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and building long-term client relationships.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.

  • Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
