Main Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Health Assessment Program Development:Assist the Health Director in developing the Health Assessment Program plan for assigned employee groups, collaborating with service providers to evaluate facility or department chemical and physical agent hazards and ensure quality assessments.
- Pre-employment Assessments:Perform pre-employment assessments to determine work fitness for employees.
- Annual Medical Checkups:Conduct annual medical checkups and issue fitness certificates.
- Injury on Duty (IOD) Management:Assess, manage, and report on IOD cases, ensuring effective communication with relevant departments.
- Communication Facilitation:Ensure effective communication between the Director of Health Care Services and service providers, highlighting relevant issues and implementing agreed actions.
- Health Services Operating Discipline:Participate in the development and implementation of Health Services Operating Discipline, management systems, programs, and plans as assigned.
- Guideline Coordination:Assist the Medical Director in reviewing and providing health services-related input to Sadara guidelines, standards, and programs, recommending improvements and solutions to health services issues.
- Occupational Health Management Systems:Become an expert user of occupational health management systems (ODMS) and Sadara's Occupational Health Information Management System.
- Quality Assurance Program:Assist with the quality assurance program, participating in the auditing of services against service level agreements and ensuring data capture meets required standards.
- Employee Assistance Program Knowledge:Develop good knowledge of the Employee Assistance Program.
- Medical Review Board Participation:Involve in the Medical Review Board (MRB) to address complex medical, job, or personal issues, contributing health services expertise to strategy development and implementation.
- Additional Duties:Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor or manager.

Professional Qualifications
- Medical Bachelor and Bachelor of Surgery.
- Master's degree or higher (PhD or fellowship) in Occupational Health with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
