OVERALL PURPOSE

Reviewing and ensuring that designed programs and procedures comply with NWC policy and procedures.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Functional Responsibilities

• Implement and manage OHS programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with NWC policy requirements.
• Analyze and evaluate the safety plan for the department and ensure it corresponds to NWC OHS policy and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate OHS performance, conduct risk assessments, and provide OHS training and education.
• Review ISO 45001 standards and ensure compliance with policy regulations.
• Develop and maintain the OHS compliance system to ensure consistent adherence to all OHS regulations and policies.
• Develop and maintain safety annual plans aligned with NWC's mission and vision.
• Develop emergency response drill plans and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
• Provide OHS advice and technical assistance to all organizational levels.
