Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for preparation and review of O&M facility (stations, rolling stock depots and infrastructure maintenance bases) studies, delivery strategies, tender and design specification in consideration of operation and maintenance requirements;
2. Identify O&M facilities operation and maintenance design issues and ensure that O&M facilities are delivered according to approved design (taking into consideration international standards);
3. Define O&M facilities operation and maintenance concepts, such as standard operating procedures and plans, training plans, maintenance regimen, etc.
4. Oversee operation readiness of O&M facilities (attending Test & Commissioning sessions and supervising Trial Run), analyzing progress and providing recommendations based upon results;
5. Liaise with key stakeholders to secure orderly and successful asset handover and start of commercial operation, providing ramp-up guidance to Train Operating Company;
6. Supervise O&M facilities operation and maintenance requirement management process to ensure such requirements will be floating down to component requirements;
7. Lead, assist and participate in general meetings on-site, and in internal discussion sessions, telephone conferences and team meetings;
8. Attend and lead official meetings with governmental authorities (e.g. SEC);
9. Provide organizational and technical guidance as well as train staff.

Qualifications:

1. University degree or master's degree in Engineering or similar;
2. At least 10 and preferably 15 years experience in his required field of expertise;
3. Long standing experience in O&M Facility Design, Operation and/or Maintenance;
4. International working experience in the technical supervision of O&M facility projects;
5. Business-focused mindset and manner with keen and insightful perceptions;
6. Collaborative, flexible and independent with a well-structured working approach;
7. Excellent English skills, Arabic is advantageous;
8. Driving license required in order to perform assigned duties.
