Job description

To provide technical expertise and operational support on all NDT matters as required on projects and proposals.

Prepare NDT procedures for assigned project.

Review clients specifications and scopes of work, examine pipe metallurgy and prepare detailed NDT procedures to achieve maximum productivity in accordance with specified quality.

Review subcontractors/vendors documents and technical qualifications.

Assist customers on assessments/audits.

Review and approve NDT related documents.

Ensure that records are maintained for all NDT activities to demonstrate achievement of client requirements.

Maintain NDT files so that information is readily available to other department members.

Help sales team for technical proposal.

Select the right NDT technologies and methodologies with respect to the different applications/circumstances.

Contribute to the design of ultrasound related lab experiments within NTI and tool validation activities.

Building manual expert analysis into automated algorithms through NPI project ideas.

Contributing to development and review of ideas for online and offline algorithms & measurement methods used in Ultrasound.

Ensuring analysis team requirements are captured and included in the scope of any Ultrasonic NPI developments.

Assisting in project budgeting by contributing to project cost estimates to ensure the required effort is matched.

Reporting progress, problems and successes on a regular basis as required by the relevant project manager(s).

Key Requirements:

Have completed Bachelor studies with proven experience in Engineering/Technology.

Experience in data driven NDT.

Experience in advanced UT.

Have expertise in NDE with proven professional experience in a related industry.

Be able to speak fluent English and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Arabic knowledge will be a plus.

Demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence team, customers and others.

Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously with a multinational team.

Possess effective problem solving skills.

Demonstrate effective analytical and organisational skills.

NDT Level III certification preferred.
