1. Job Purpose
Oversee and lead the strategic management of cargo, logistics, and real estate operations, ensuring revenue growth, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence through effective planning, partnerships, and continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Position Accountability Description
Strategic Leadership:
- Oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans for Cargo & Logistics and Entertainment, Properties & Real Estate divisions, ensuring alignment with DACO’s overall business objectives.
- Lead the development of comprehensive strategies for increasing non-passenger revenue, focusing on cargo, logistics, and real estate opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all non-passenger concessions, providing detailed reports to senior management and making informed strategic decisions.
Operational Excellence:
- Lead the effective management of all cargo, logistics, and real estate operations, ensuring high efficiency, operational excellence, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the development and enhancement of cargo facilities, logistics hubs, and real estate properties, maximizing revenue generation and ensuring optimal space utilization.
- Ensure that all contracts and agreements within the Cargo & Logistics and Entertainment, Properties & Real Estate divisions are executed effectively, maintaining compliance with terms, and maximizing value for DACO.
- Develop and enforce rigorous operational policies and procedures to minimize risks, maintain service quality, and ensure the continuous, smooth operation of non-passenger activities.
- Conduct regular operational audits across non-passenger concessions, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Stakeholder Management:
- Shape and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including logistics providers, real estate developers, and other non-passenger service providers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Strengthen and manage relationships with key identified non-passenger partners, ensuring they align with DACO’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth integration of new non-passenger services and facilities into airport operations.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Develop and implement talent management strategies by identifying skill gaps, providing training, and fostering career growth, enhancing employee capabilities and retention.
- Foster a high-performance team culture through regular feedback, encouraging innovation, and offering development opportunities to team members.
- Ensure team alignment with DACO’s objectives for non-passenger concession development, driving successful outcomes and high-quality performance.
Financial Management:
- Supervise financial planning and budgeting within the department by tracking expenditures and financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and financial targets.
- Manage departmental resources by assessing needs, allocating budgets, and optimizing utilization, ensuring efficient operations and maximum return on investment.
- Oversee the implementation of advanced technology solutions to enhance cargo tracking, real estate management, and overall non-passenger operations.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Drive innovation in non-passenger concession management by identifying and developing new revenue streams in cargo, logistics, and real estate, enhancing DACO’s financial performance.
- Steer continuous improvement initiatives across the Cargo & Logistics and Entertainment, Properties & Real Estate divisions, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments, using insights to shape strategic decisions and identify new business opportunities.
3.Education Background
Bachelor’s degree: Business Administration, Aviation Management or equivalent
4.Relevant Experience
Minimum of 12 years in airport concessions management, cargo, logistics, and real estate operations or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
