An established industry player is seeking a Solutions Specialist to bridge the gap between technical specifications and business language. This role focuses on Advanced & Emerging Technologies, requiring strong Cisco knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. The successful candidate will engage in technical sales activities, design solutions, and collaborate closely with sales teams to drive demand. The main objective of this role is to translate the technical specifications of products or solutions into straightforward business language for clients and to generate demand within customer segments for specialized solution areas using specific approaches.
The Solutions Specialist will be involved in all technical sales activities and must possess Cisco-specific knowledge. Certifications and specializations supporting this knowledge are highly recommended.
The focus will be on Advanced & Emerging Technologies, including Traditional and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, private cloud solutions, Backup Solutions, Disaster Recovery, Cyber-Recovery solutions, and Microsoft Azure. The candidate must be able to work independently to gather requirements and translate them into solutions, collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies, conduct whiteboarding sessions with customers and team members, and build BOMs, cost analyses, SOWs, and Visio diagrams.
The role requires the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, develop strategic relationships with Partner SEs, and provide support across multiple technologies.
Minimum qualifications include a BA in Information Technology or equivalent, VMware VTSP, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, VEEAM VMTSP, and preferably Dell Technologies Architect certification. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in the field, with 2 years in a presales role.
