Network Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and other security technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and troubleshoot firewalls from different vendors.
2. Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues for clients, customers, or the company.
3. Configure and troubleshoot various Network Security solutions such as Firewalls, Mail GW, Endpoint Security, Sandbox, ADC, WAF, NAC, DNS solutions.
4. Understand customer technical requirements, business objectives, and strategy.
5. Work proactively and collaboratively with customers to understand their business processes, gather requirements, and assess needs.
6. Create both High-level and Low-level Design documents.
7. Provide escalation support for operational issues from the help desk.
8. Utilize scripts to automate repetitive tasks and increase productivity.
9. Ensure tasks are scheduled and executed according to the Operations schedule.
10. Analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents and requests, ensuring adherence to service levels.
11. Serve as the primary contact for monitoring, addressing user requests, questions, and incidents.
12. Log, categorize, prioritize, and assign security-related incidents and requests.
13. Translate customer needs into effective solutions.
14. Work with IP routing protocols, configure routing with automatic fail-over solutions.
15. Support and troubleshoot onsite and offsite issues.
16. Understand SSL VPN and IP-Sec tunneling concepts.
17. Collaborate with team members and gain hands-on experience with various network security devices.
18. Understand MSP business processes, including SLAs, engineering hand-offs, and support requests.
19. Plan projects to migrate technologies seamlessly.
20. Lead team members in initiating and completing network security projects while maintaining service continuity.
21. Provide comprehensive documentation of network security solutions and topologies.
22. Analyze data and logs to produce reports and solutions for network security issues.
23. Manage multiple projects and customer accounts effectively.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience.
• Willingness to travel across the Kingdom.
• Experience in an MSP environment is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Professional certifications in Network Security (CCNP Security preferred).
• Experience in large enterprise and dynamic environments.
• Self-motivated, approachable, adaptable, with excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
