Overview:
The Network Operations Center Manager (NOC) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and performance of ADC’s network infrastructure. This role ensures uninterrupted service availability, rapid incident response, and effective coordination with field and engineering teams. Operating within the Infrastructure Operations team, the NOC Manager ensures proactive monitoring, fault management, and operational excellence across the network.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage 24/7 NOC operations to ensure high network availability and service continuity.
- Monitor network performance across RAN, Core, Transport, and IP layers, responding to faults and outages within SLA timelines.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fault detection, escalation, and resolution.
- Coordinate closely with field teams, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams for incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Implement monitoring tools, dashboards, and performance KPIs to drive visibility and operational insights.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of network health, outages, and maintenance activities.
- Manage planned maintenance and emergency response protocols to minimize customer impact.
- Mentor and supervise NOC engineers and analysts, building a high-performance operations team.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or related technical field.
Experience:
- +4 years of experience in network operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of IP/MPLS, LTE/5G RAN, Core, and Transport network architecture.
- Expertise in NOC tools and incident management systems.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead shift-based teams and manage complex network environments.
- Knowledge of telecom regulatory SLA frameworks and operational best practices.
