Responsibilities:

• Maintain network infrastructure using Cisco routers and switches.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Intermediate knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting DC infrastructure (legacy, ACI, spine-leaf topologies).
• Monitor network performance and proactively manage issues while adhering to SLAs.
• Develop and enforce network policies, standards, and best practices.
• Utilize network monitoring tools for daily and monthly performance reporting and documentation.
• Maintain wireless network components including Aruba Controllers, Airwave, ClearPass, Cisco WLAN Controllers, and Huawei Wireless Controller.
• Conduct routine network maintenance, spectrum analysis, frequency sweeps, and manage L2/L3 roaming.
• Deploy quarterly passive and active wireless validation surveys for main campus buildings and floors.
• Support and troubleshoot unified communication systems, including Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connection, Instant Messaging, and Presence Servers, and Contact Center Servers.
• Support Video Conference Cisco CMS, WebEx meetings, and cloud-based communication.
• Configure and manage VOIP Cluster components and provide implementation support at remote sites.
• Integrate and troubleshoot call recording solutions and maintain collaboration applications.
• Participate in design discussions for continuous improvement of the VOIP segment.
• Monitor and enforce security measures such as SSID security profiles and ACLs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
• Coordinate with the IT team to develop network policies and procedures.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers for network-related issues and updates.
• Provide emergency on-call support and rapid solutions for new network requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, specializing in Cisco technologies.
• Cisco Certified (CCNP) certification is required. CCIE certification is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and network security principles.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with Cisco Collaboration products and SIP technology.
• Good understanding of LAN, WAN, and VOIP terminologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving technology environment.
• Strong reporting skills and expertise in documentation.
