Job Scope
The Network Engineer is accountable for designing, implementing and maintaining the company s network infrastructure, the delegation of tasks and the resolution of network issues in order to ensure IT systems are working safely and correctly.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, write and update functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Collaborate with Network Architects to design and implement functional company networks
• Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices
• Create, oversee and test security measures
• Provide technical support, respond to work requirements and requests, analyze and solve reported network problems
• Deal with escalated network support issues
• Suggest and lead day to day improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
• Issue network status reports and maintain complete technical documentation
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field
Experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience
