Job Summary:
Providing operational support for managing and maintaining the performance, security, and efficiency of the IT network services and infrastructure components. In addition to deploying network tools and solutions, monitoring system and service performance and performing root cause analysis of incidents, the role will be focused on administering, maintaining and supporting the security and operations of all network IT services by closely working with various functions within IT, including IT and Security Operations, as well as other departments across the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing and configuring network and security hardware and software solutions including firewalls, WEB filtering, and information security systems in line with security policies and business requirements.
- Managing and configuring key network components including Core Switch, access switch and Wireless LAN Controller, meeting the security standards and best practices.
- Maintaining critical devices and services inventory, ensuring proper and active vendor support is in place, and renewing on time.
- Ensuring continuous monitoring of the network infrastructure and service components with proactive addressing of issues and security risks.
- Managing collaboration systems such as Cisco CUCM and Genesys Cloud.
- Developing and maintaining documentation of network devices, IP Schema, basic troubleshooting steps and Diagram designing.
- Ensuring the network devices and components configurations are backed up as per the enterprise backup policy and strategy.
- Engaging with vendors and local suppliers to assess new requirements and identify the most cost-effective solutions.
- Implementing security controls and procedures to protect IT systems and network infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Handling the configuration, deployment, and administration of troubleshooting of assigned systems and network services
- Managing daily health check monitoring of all assigned security and network services.
- Providing level 2 technical support to staff and assistance to the internal IT support team in analyzing troubleshooting and resolving issues with hardware and software when and as required.
- Managing related backup and redundant architecture solutions for developing and testing disaster recovery plans.
Education / Professional Qualifications:
- Education Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, network engineering, or a related field.
- Years of Experience: 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- License (Clinical & Engineers professional are required):
- Professional Certification: Security+, CCNA or CCNP NSE4
Experts & Skills:
- Strong understanding of network principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Experience with network tools such as firewalls, Switches, WLC.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
