Responsibilities
  1. Project Engineer for assigned projects reporting to the Project Manager.
  2. Preparation and control of project documentation (revision, quality checks, transmittals, etc.).
  3. Perform basic and detailed engineering and application engineering design to meet customer requirements.
  4. Assist in the assembly and testing of integrated systems.
  5. Perform commissioning at site.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  1. Liaise with other project team members to ensure effective performance of work.
  2. Assist the Lead Designer (LD) engineer(s) with basic and detailed engineering, configuration, and testing (pre-FAT/FAT/IFAT).
  3. Prepare and control project documentation, ensuring adherence to standards, schedule, and quality plans.
  4. Track deviations in project scope or BOM variations.
  5. Prepare sub-vendor inquiries and conduct technical evaluations.
  6. Use engineering team man-hours effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
  • B.E. or B.Tech. in Instrumentation or Control Systems Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
Competencies
  • SCADA domain expertise for Oil/Gas, Pipeline & Utilities.
  • Telemetry & PLC systems programming and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, Serial, Modbus, DNP3, HART, OPC 2.0, Foundation Fieldbus protocols.
  • Experience with transmitters, control valves, sensors, isolators, barriers, multiplexers, etc.
  • Knowledge of Fiber Optic, Wireless, GSM, GPRS, UHF, CDMA communication technologies.
Skills
  • PLC programming (IEC61131-3).
  • Networking configuration and administration.
  • Microsoft OS System Administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with Yokogawa Fast Tools, STARDOM, or PLCs preferred.
