Job description

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Naval Operations Instructor to provide RSNF personnel training on techniques, processes, and procedures related to naval surface operations in all warfare areas, including Electronic Warfare. This position will be located in Jubail, KSA, and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide managerial and instructional services necessary to conduct surface operations and maintenance, damage control, and general classroom training and OJT in-Kingdom for the RSNF using facilities and instructional materials provided by the RSNF.
  2. Analyze RSNF Surface Operations and Maintenance, Damage Control, and General Training schedules, delivery methods, and standards to determine currency, relevance, and applicability to current training objectives. Prepare and deliver reports, studies, briefings, and point papers containing findings/results, including recommendations for modifications and/or development of schedules, delivery methods, and standards.
  3. Deliver, instruct, and facilitate instructor-led basic and advanced operations courses. Potential subject matter includes:
  • Basic Officer Qualification
  • Electronic Warfare introductory course
  • Quartermaster Advanced Training
  • Instructor Qualification course
  • Navigation Officer Training
  • Search and Rescue (SAR) Training
  • Rules of the Road Refresher Training
  • Allied Tactical Publication (ATP) I Volume II Familiarization
  • Officer of the Deck (OOD) Refresher Training
  • Radio Telephone Communications Procedures
  • Combat Information Center (CIC) Training
  • Damage Control Training
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience

Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field AND three (3) years’ experience instructing students in military programs - OR – five (5) years’ experience instructing students in military programs and certified as a military training specialist.

Professional knowledge of Navy Training Management theories, policies, principles, procedures, and techniques.
