Job Description

Provides general healthcare advice and dispenses prescription and non-prescription medication along with non-pharma products to customers. Supervises the retail store team and operations to ensure sales targets, customer satisfaction, and operational readiness are consistently met.

Accountabilities
Store Management:
  • Ensure store readiness by monitoring compliance with internal guidelines (e.g., staff uniforms, store temperature, storage conditions) to maintain effective daily operations and a professional appearance.
  • Perform duties according to Standard Operating Procedures, including loyalty program registration, to ensure performance standards are met.
Operations:
  • Process prescriptions, dispense medication, and provide consultation on dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions to ensure customer safety and understanding.
  • Educate customers on the proper handling of medical equipment for home use, providing manuals and additional resources for safe use.
  • Supervise and develop retail staff through performance management, coaching, and training to maximize team performance.
  • Monitor sales performance and customer satisfaction through observation and reporting to meet targets.
  • Handle payments, reconciliations, and coordinate with Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding customer needs and proposing suitable products.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as stock ordering, inventory, expenses, pricing updates, and promotion execution to ensure operational excellence.
Health & Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures through regular monitoring and updates.
  • Dispense over-the-counter medication, advise on treatment options, and ensure customer health and safety.
Pharmacological Knowledge:
  • Maintain current pharmacological knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional networks.

Employee duties may include other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (including 1-hour break)
