National Business Development Manager (Riyadh)

Job Description: Your primary objective will be to develop existing or new business by coordinating all business development actions and triggering opportunities within your specified vertical for larger accounts. You will work with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with our current commercial policy while focusing on key objectives.

Your Role: Acting as a bridge between customers and business units, National Sales Business Development Managers are responsible for gaining new/additional business and maintaining/growing existing customers in line with business strategies. Additionally, you will hunt for new customers within Saudi Arabia to drive growth for Kuehne+Nagel.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and develop your client portfolio, selling Kuehne+Nagel's services across business units.
  2. Build and maintain close relationships with clients and stakeholders across industries.
  3. Expand the customer base, delivering growth with current and new Key Account clients.
  4. Prepare and review Key Account Plans aligned with company development directions and budgets.
  5. Assist in preparing tender documents and participate in escalation management for managed companies.
  6. Manage budget and P&L for assigned accounts.
  7. Coordinate client lifecycle activities such as development, implementation, reviews, and results.
  8. Ensure high-quality service delivery in cooperation with internal teams.
  9. Collaborate with sales and business units to develop and increase market share.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Sales, Key Account Management, Business Development, or similar, specifically within the Saudi Arabia market.
  • Deep understanding of the logistics industry environment.
  • Strong business development and relationship management skills.
  • Customer-focused with ability to build senior-level partnerships.
  • Organized, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Innovative, adaptable to new technologies, and eager to develop new skills.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
