Nail Technician

To work with a clear understanding of the standards, core values, visions, and goals of Kempinski and Kempinski the Spa.
To ensure clients receive requested treatments and follow-up recommendations according to the spa’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.

The duties of a Nail Technician are executed satisfactorily when:

1. Provides spa treatments according to Kempinski the Spa treatment menu, standards, and outlined protocols.
2. Retains proper working knowledge of the process, benefit, and outcome of all treatments and products in the spa.
3. References and adjusts nail services according to the guest’s health assessment.
4. Delivers special, individualized, and unique service to guests in the Spa.
5. Upsells and recommends in a thoughtful way—treatments, retail, and homecare.
6. Begins and ends Nail Services on time.
7. Confidently handles and rectifies guest queries or small complaints.
8. Ensures guests' comfort and a genuine, welcoming environment for all guests.
9. Ensures a proper handover is completed in the guest journey as per the documented standard; following up on treatment experience and acting on any discrepancies.
10. Maintains the setup, hygiene, and cleanliness of treatment rooms and treatment equipment.
11. Maintains complete discretion and confidentiality in all communications with guests.
12. Acts on other positions’ responsibilities within the spa as required.
13. Reports all accidents and guest incidents to the Director of Spa in a swift and professional manner.
