Responsibilities:

1. Plan lessons and units following the curriculum framework in collaboration with other grade-level teachers.
2. Develop curriculum documentation that reflects horizontal and vertical alignment.
3. Design lessons considering differentiation needs, student engagement, and anticipate misconceptions.
4. Create plans for formative and summative assessments to monitor student learning.
5. Demonstrate content knowledge in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and social-emotional learning.

Classroom Management

• Communicate and enforce high expectations consistently and clearly.
• Show warmth, care, respect, and fairness, building strong relationships with students.
• Establish routines early and maintain them throughout the year.
• Encourage self-discipline, responsibility, and efficacy among students.
• Maintain alertness and poise, addressing discipline issues proactively.

Delivery of Instruction

• Implement effective strategies, materials, and groupings to motivate students.

Professional Responsibilities
