An established industry player is seeking a Munitions Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety and efficiency of Munitions operations. This role involves performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of Munitions systems while adhering to strict safety protocols. Responsibilities
The specific duties of the Munitions Maintenance Technician include, but are not limited to the following:
• Carry out all required Munitions Maintenance, Inspection, Test and Repair of all current RSAF Munitions.
• Have a thorough knowledge of Munitions Safety Procedures
• Carry out all required Munitions Maintenance, Inspection, Test and Repair of all current RSAF Munitions.
• Develop and carry out OJT Training duties with SN & RSAF Trainees as well as some Classroom Training as required.
• Maintain Munitions Tools and Equipment, AGE and Special to Type servicing stands, as required. Ensure compliance with tool control in the Munitions Maintenance sections.
• Prepare, Inspect and Store all Munitions in the RSAF Inventory, IAW RSAF Procedures.
• Support the RSAF Aircraft Squadrons with timely and accurate delivery of Munitions.
• Monitor and demand all supply issues affecting the Munitions Maintenance sections.
Job Requirements:
Applicants for the post of Munitions Maintenance Technician 1 will satisfy the following criteria:
• Will be a Munitions graduate of a military or civilian school (RSAF 26170 / 26370 / 18170 ) or equivalent.
• Must have a good level of English Language comprehension, both written and oral ( ie minimum 75%, RSAF equivalent ECL)
• Will have a minimum of 5 years practical experience of working on the full range of RSAF Munitions Systems, either a military or civilian environment.
• Must be a quality minded, mature, individual that adopts a positive and proactive approach to all aspects of the Munitions field.
• Must possess a current driving license.
Knowledge
• Must be fully conversant with the principles of Munitions Maintenance, Inspection, Assembly and Disassembly.
• Must be fully conversant with the principles of Explosives Safety, Handling, Transportation and Storage.
• Have a sound knowledge of the RSAF OJT program on Munitions Maintenance.
• Be conversant with the principles and requirements detailed within the RSAF I s 7606-4 & 7601-4, as well as the RSAF Publications System in General.
• Competent in the use of the standard RSAF Software suite ( Microsoft Office)
