Job description

Overview:

The Mission Critical Core Principle Engineer plays a critical role in building the technological backbone for public safety and ultra-reliable communication services. This role is responsible for engineering highly available core systems (MCPTT, MCVideo, MCData) aligned with 3GPP mission-critical standards. With direct impact on emergency response, national security communications, and industrial safety use cases, the engineer ensures performance, redundancy, and secure interoperability across ADC’s mission-critical network architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Engineer and implement mission-critical LTE/5G core components including EPC, IMS, and MCX platforms.
  • Conduct network design reviews and simulations to validate redundancy and performance.
  • Integrate MCX applications with public safety systems and dispatch platforms.
  • Coordinate testing and validation of end-to-end mission-critical use cases.
  • Ensure compliance with public safety security standards and 3GPP MCX requirements.
  • Collaborate with transport and RAN teams to ensure low latency and QoS.
  • Lead technical troubleshooting during field trials and commercial launch.
  • Document architecture, configurations, and integration test results.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering or Telecommunications.

Experience:

  • 6+ years in core engineering with 3+ years in mission-critical systems.

Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of MCPTT, EPC, IMS, LTE/5G architecture, end-to-end QoS, high-availability systems.
